Souvenirs de France for alto saxophone and piano

Souvenirs de France begins with a belcanto-style cavatina which finishes with a brief cadenza. There follows a series of variations on the French children's song "La Bonne aventure ô gué", which is also the subject of the valse-brilliante rondo which closes the work.
