Caprice sur la Dernière Pensée de Weber: for piano

Surprisingly, "Weber's Last Thought" was not composed by Weber but rather by Carl Gottlieb Reissiger (1798-1859) who suceeded Weber as Kappelmeister at the Court of Dresden. Ali Ben Sou Alle's version is much more ornamented than Reissiger's original version for piano, whose theme would have been immediately recognizable to an audience in the mid 19th century.
